Why wouldn't I just hire a freelancer or employee?

The cost of a senior-level designer today is over $100,000/yr. Sometimes you don't have work for them either. We believe the level of flexibility and up-front costs as features allow business to happen at a more optimal pace. If you're like us, you value the end result more than negotiating over production and value. Productized services are great for ignoring everything but what actually matters.

How's this work?

You fill the Queue and we'll cycle 'em through!‍ You will receive an email upon sign up for a Subscription that will direct you to your own Trello Workspace. Trello accepts most any file format and integrates with most other design tools and software. Our system is expressly simplified so that you know what's in-process and what's ready for review before final deliverables are sent. Fill your Queue and attach necessary notes and files then wait for your briefs to come back for either annotation or live use. We find this helps a wider range of individuals wanting quick turnarounds or more control over the design process and final outcomes.

How quick can I get my designs?

Templated designs can take as little as a few hours while more complex processes such as web design and video editing naturally take more time. We work iteratively and believe taking shots on goal is the best way to work async. You are free to amend designs with your notes through the revision process until you are satisfied. Shop hours are Monday thru Friday 9AM-5PM EST

Who's behind Popstarving?

Popstarving was started by one designer...me! And you'll be working with me on every design async through your Trello Workspace. Over a decade of creative professional experience both freelancing and with agencies has given me the desire to offer great design in its simplest form. What do you use to design?

Adobe CC: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere and Figma. All web design is done in Webflow, shops can be built in Shopify by request or in Webflow. We will also be offering automation services including integrations and flows in ChatGPT, Zapier, Klaviyo and MailChimp in the near future.

How do I submit Design Requests?

Once subscribed, you will be sent an onboarding email to the email address you signed up with. This will include a link to your Trello Workspace which features a simplified 1-in-1-out system that is intuitive to use. Trello allows for nearly every file type and integrates with your standard design tools. Link Google Docs, Figma files or record a video or voice message of your brief if you prefer to work without writing. You will retain access to your Trello Workspace throughout the duration of your subscription length.

What about this Pause feature?

The Pause feature empowers you to manage your subscription based on your schedule. Whether you're on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly plan, this feature lets you effectively schedule the times you'll need to use your subscription within the 31, 90, or 365-day billing cycle, respectively. The Pause feature is accessible right from your Popstarving User profile. When you're ready to resume, simply unpause, and your subscription will be there, ready to serve your design needs. This smart approach lets you align your design requirements with your business cycle effortlessly. Say goodbye to watching the clock and hello to productivity on your terms.

What if I'm not satisfied with the work?

Welcome to the new world of Unlimited Revisions! This feature is truly a mutual benefit. The design process has always been hassled by scope creep and value-to-labor debates. Now you get to tweak and refine toward that perfect result without watching the clock. We'll distill it to perfection with you!

What if I don't need it all the time?

Totally fine! With your Popstarving subscription you can pause or cancel any time. Billing cycles are 31 days in length and renew each month while subscribed. Say you only need 14 days of design this month, you can Pause your subscription with one click and have 17 days remaining on your subscription til next billing.

What is your Refund Policy?

No Refunds will be given for any Monthly Subscription tier, but the user may still utilize their subscription through the end of the billing cycle. Quarterly and Yearly Subscriptions will be refunded less the used months, including the one in which they choose to cancel, no matter the date, and each of the used months will be charged at the standard Monthly rate.
